Window air conditioner wont function; Powers on, but nothing else works?

I have a Maytag M6Q10F2A, 10,000 BTU window air conditioner. I tried to power it on one day and saw a large blue spark. The A/C wouldnt power on so I replaced the fuse. Now the A/C powers on the display, but the fan doesnt work. Any ideas?
