Smokers are increasing?

Well first of all smokers are increasing because people enjoy smoking. Of course some people do it because of peer pressure, rebellion or many other reasons but there is no doubt that a solid number of people enjoy this ancient ritual just for the enjoyment. Smoking is a very social situation therefore people are going to try to get others to join in. As far as stopping smoking all together I don't think it is possible. There are always going to be people who want to do it and if you tell them not to then there will still be the anti-establishment type people doing it just because they are told not to. For instance drug use in the United States has sky rocketed since illegalization and anti-use propoganda. There is no good way to stop smoking better than education and acceptance. People need to choose not to do it you can't force them or the problem will just get worse.
