How can I find my relatives in another country?

About 100 years ago I had some relatives that came over to America from Sicily through Ellis Island and they changed their last name a little. I've tried Googling their original name and can't really find anything except a couple of pages that are completely in Sicilian and I don't know what they say. Any ideas?
